Salve Giveaway!

Happy Wellness Wednesday everyone! Today is rather exciting because this is Sprouting the Seed's first giveaway, and it's a doozy! I've teamed up with Spark Naturals to giveaway three (yes, THREE!) of their fabulous salves. I've had the privilege of using their salves for about a month now and have been very impressed.

I've been using essential oils for about two years now, but had never tried a salve. What is a salve? A salve is an ointment used to promote healing of the skin or as protection, much like a balm or cream. My grandma was the one who turned me onto salves, but I didn't really have a lot of time to make my own between selling a home, moving, and raising two littles. So when Spark Naturals announced they were starting their own line I knew I just had to try them, and I am so glad I did! I have personally tried each of the three salves we are giving away this week, so I'm speaking from personal experience when I say they are fabulous and really do work!

The three salves we are giving away are Dream, Focus, and Revive, and these are all must-haves in my opinion! Here's Why:

Dream Salve: Dream Salve is an organic blend that helps to calm the body, thus allowing the body to relax and rest. If you struggle with sleep, this isn't a "magic" concoction that will make you suddenly sleep for a solid 8 hours everynight, but it does improve the sleep you do get. A deep sleep for 4-5 hours is better than a light sleep for 3. In the past I was a great sleeper, but after kids, not so much. Since I've been using Dream Salve nightly, my feet are softer (bonus!) and I feel like my sleep has been more productive. Definitely worth a try!

Focus Salve: Focus Salve is an organic blend that helps with attention, concentration, meditation, and mood/behavior. For the last couple of weeks I've been taking a class that has been all day going over a huge load of information. The first day I used Focus Salve and felt alert and able to pay attention. The second day I forgot to use it and there was a HUGE difference in my concentration. After lunch, I was sooooo done, and we still had 4 more hours. I was missing my salve! If you haven't tried it yet, Focus Blend is a fabulous oil, and when put into a salve, it is easier to spread and use.

Revive Salve: Revive Salve is an organic vapor rub blend that can be used much like Vicks. Rub it on the chest, throat, and feet for relief from cold and flu symptoms. Sore muscles? Rub Revive Salve on joints and muscles for temporary pain relief. Sickness doesn't always strike in the winter, and when it does, this is a great one to have on hand!
